The Journey of Life – 2024

De Gournay - Design & Development 

Design and development of embroidered artworks for Homo Faber 2024, on display at Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Venice. Presented in a life-size rendition of ‘Gioco dell’Oca’, a historic game of chance, reimagined by the British artist Nigel Peake. Each game board features thousands of stitches and heritage hand and Ari hook techniques developed in collaboration with Indian artisans in West Bengal.
